October's Zoo Day is quickly trottin' your way!!
This month we will have an "Open Theme." "What's that mean", you may wonder. It simply means, come and join us for a time when human pets, furs, and littles - and those that love 'em - will be together to just play and have fun!!
As usual, from 1-3 pm we will have our Meet & Greet/Munch Pitch-in (so bring something to share), and from 3 - 7 pm will be pony training time as well as open play time for everyone!!
Where else can you have a full afternoon (6 hours) of pet play with friends and then, of course, stay all night for BDSM activities in the dungeon for just $20? No where. The Woodshed in Orlando, stays open till 2 am or later.
"so grab your human pet, or get a leash or reins on 'em, or get a lasso around 'em, or stick 'em in a cage if ya have to, and come join us for human pet fun!! Bring along a friend or two."
**UPDATE**
YES the Florida Pets are still coming to The Woodshed for Zoo Day this Saturday.
NO, we don't know when the next "Zoo Day at The Woodshed" will happen. For those that are not aware of this yet, The Woodshed has to move out of its current location. See The Woodshed's announcement here: http://fetlife.com/groups/853/group_posts/322044.
Because of the situation, the Florida Pets group is having an Open House this Saturday afternoon from 1pm - 7pm. The Florida Pets are sending out this open invitation to the community to come say "good bye for now" to The Woodshed, at this location. Also, The Woodshed seriously needs to raise funds so they can get into a new place. The donation jar will be out, and we hope they have to empty it a few times before the day is done.
How will this impact the Florida Pets' Zoo Day play time this Saturday? Not much. Zoo Day is an unconventional play experience - some people have called it "the daylight dungeon." The lights will be on, the music will be off, and cameras will be out. If you cannot be photographed, ask for an armband at the front desk.
If you want to see The Woodshed one last time (or the first & last time) - this is it. They can't promise to be there past this weekend. And YES - you can get those pictures of The Woodshed "as it was."
We fill a table with food starting about 1 pm. Come eat with us, chat, hang out, and help us stuff the donation jar. I think we are going to need a registry of folks who have offered to help with the move, too. Sign up time.
Let's send the old location into history with style and grace.
Will the closing of The Woodshed's current location affect future Florida Pet's Zoo Day events? Absolutely not! We have at least seven alternative play spaces around the state who have contacted Sir or I over the past year and a half about bringing Zoo Day to their location. None of them are in the Orlando Metro area. Sir and I are already busy talking with these various locations and already have plans set-up through the end of the year. Stay tuned here for more infor on the where and when of the future Zoo Days as they become finalized.
Blessings~
