Schedule for For the Fox Hunt Day Event:

Saturday morning

11 am - Stirrup Cup - traditional toast to begin the festivities

Organize the hunters and release the Fox. We have ONE fox confirmed. More FOXES are welcome. A guide will go with each fox to mark trail. We are in a National Forest and do not wish to loose people.

Note:The Fox must consent wear a fox tail butt plug and consent to have the plug pulled out when caught OR have a fox tail tied on and removed when caught.   If the fox is wanting to be tormented by the Mistress or Master of the team that catches the fox, all limits must be written before hand, thoroughly understood by all participants and agreed to.

11:30 am - The Hunt begins

The dogs/critters are released next to find the fox.

The ponies and "riders" follow the dogs.

The idea is that the dogs/critters encircle the fox after the dog/critter that finds the fox tags him/her, and they all bark to bring the ponies and "riders" to the scene. The fox is de-tailed.

New to our Fox Hunt this Spring is that The Fox may choose to run back to the campground once spotted by the Hounds, but if the Fox is tagged, the Fox must stop at that point. There will be a "free from hounds" cage/burrow to curl up in.

Being a social event, the hunt is followed by a pot luck dinner together.

The Hunt concludes with an Award Ceromony.

Additional Event after the Hunt:

We will set up an arena for free-style dressage routines to be performed in and Puppy/Critter Agility Equipment will be available to try out and play on.

This event is held in a National Forest about 90 miles north of Los Angeles. Please contact www.laponiesandcritters for more information.
